CHINESE BILATERAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

We are pleased to announce the Chinese Bilateral Scholarship Program (CBSP) to UA students. Full scholarships will be provided to TWO Non-Chinese citizen students who wish to pursue degree programs in any fields in China.  Students can be enrolled in an undergraduate, masters or doctoral program at the time of application. Students must be prepared to apply for, enroll in, and complete a degree program at a Chinese university. http://www.edulosangeles.org/publish/portal59/tab3771/info104792.htm
 
Application Procedure:
Phase I:  UA Preliminary Application (to select FIVE students for Phase II)

March 7, noon-1pm
 

  1. Deadline for letter of interest packet

March 21st, 5pm, please send electronic submission to ychen@email.arizona.edu
The packet should include:

  • Resume
  • Degree program to be pursued in China, including the name of Chinese university/degree sought/name of program
  • A study plan (200 words for undergraduates, 500 for graduate students)
  • A 200-word description of why this program fits into the student’s future plans
  • Unofficial transcripts
  • Two faculty references (name and contact information)

 

  1. UA committee review and student interviews

March 22-26th
 

  1. Notification of five selected students

March 27th, 5pm
 
Phase II: Chinese Consulate General Application (to select the final two scholarship recipients)

  1. Application Deadline: April 30, 2014
